City Weekly
"Music Picks" by Jamie Gadette
preview of February 24th, 2006 @ Club Vegas, Salt Lake City, UT

Redemption might be all pomp if not for circumstance. The local Goths, led by subterranean vocalist Miah, are keen on elaborate live shows, but sometimes struggle to thrill audiences who dig on traditional rock formats (i.e., live drums). The trio, which experienced a few lineup changes over its lengthy career, compensates with tight musicianship. Reviews of 2005's Home place Redemption on par with national players, including pioneering legends Mission U.K. and Sisters of Mercy. Tonight's show will feature a taste of things to come—a new album slated for spring—with the as-yet-unheard track "Siren." Club Vegas, 445 S. 400 West, 9 p.m. Info: 364-8347, ClubVegas.org (with Carphax Files and Tragic Black).

The County Morgue
review of June 8th, 2005 @ The Bouquet, Boise ID by Behni

"...And then there was Redemption. Beautiful. Beautiful lights, beautiful dark music, and very beautiful looking to boot. Yes, I think I'm having a crush moment here.I got a guitar pick from Ash and one from the the Bass player too! Ash served me up my guitar pick in proper Goth Rock God style. Yum!!! Did I mention how beautiful these guys are? Anyway... I digress. I really can't say enough about how wonderful all the music was and what a fun time I had.I went to bed singing _Times Like These_ and feeling like I was covered in Dark Glitter dust. I am so tired from dancing I can hardly move. All day at work everyone kept walking by laughing at me because I was still in a daze. I have that floaty, wore out and happy as hell after glow that only comes from exceptionally good sex..... or a night of incredible music and the best company..."

"Unholy Reign: Dark Arts Festival subjects Salt Lake City to 5th year" by Rebecca Vernon
review of June 5th, 2005 @ Dark Arts Festival, Salt Lake City, UT

"Redemption, a local act, came on next, and their over-the-top Goth Rock had most people dancing and singing along. The light show was amazing. It was the best I’ve ever seen them – lead singer Jeremiah was confident and every note was on pitch and powerful..."
